Empire Hill Climb
Class #1 2.0L
Vintage Volkswagen. Modern competition.
Racing, developing and building a better paddock — one event at a time.
The car is a 1976 Volkswagen Scirocco Type 53 being developed through real competition.
At its heart is a naturally aspirated OBD1 ABA 2.0-liter 8-valve breathing through dual 40mm Weber DCOE carburetors and driving the front wheels through a Quaife ATB limited-slip differential.
The car competes in Hill Climb, Time Trials and Track Sprint events. The development philosophy is simple: race it, learn from it, improve it and go faster.
#799 competes across multiple forms of motorsport, with podium finishes in hill climb and track sprint competition and an FTD at Waumandee.

Closed-road competition against the clock. One run, one road and no room to waste time.
Competition built around finding the fastest possible time from driver and machine.
Point-to-point track competition rewarding pace, precision and clean execution.
Naturally aspirated. Front-wheel drive. Mechanical. A competition package focused on response, grip and making the most of a lightweight Mk1 chassis.
Scirocco 799 gives partners something different: an unmistakable vintage Volkswagen that is actively built, tested and raced.
Partnership opportunities include vehicle branding, event exposure, social media content, product integration, installation features and competition updates throughout the season.
The program is built for more than traditional automotive sponsorship. Partners can reach spectators, enthusiasts and a paddock full of competitors who actively invest in cars, tools, equipment, travel and the sport.
We are building long-term relationships around useful products, authentic integration and measurable activation — not just stickers on a race car.
Tools, fuel equipment, tire gear, trailer equipment and the small things that make race weekends work. If it is here, it earns its place in the #799 paddock.
#799 is building a small group of race, technical, product and commerce partners around a nine-event competition program. The goal is simple: create partnerships that are useful on track, credible in the paddock and valuable off it.
